Couch Cleaning FAQs: Booking, Pricing and Care
Q1: How do I book a same-day couch clean?
Call us or send a quote request through our contact page. Tell us what needs cleaning, the fabric type if you know it, and any problem stains. We take enquiries seven days a week, from 5:00 AM to 11:30 PM. Same-day appointments depend on availability, so get in touch as early as you can.
Q2: How much does couch cleaning cost?
The price depends on the size of your couch, the fabric, its condition, and any extras such as stain treatment or Scotchgard protection. We provide a free quote, so send us the details and we will give you a clear price before any work starts.
Q3: How long will my couch take to dry?
Drying time varies with the fabric, how heavily soiled the couch was, and the humidity in your home. Most fabric couches are dry within several hours, while thick or dense fabrics can take longer. Opening windows or running a fan helps speed things up.
Q4: How do I find out what fabric my couch is made of?
Check the care tag, usually under a seat cushion or along the base. You may see a cleaning code: W means water-based cleaning, S means solvent-based cleaning only, WS means either method, and X means vacuum only. If the tag is missing, just let us know and we will assess the fabric when we arrive.
Q5: How often should I have my couch professionally cleaned?
As a general guide, once a year suits most households. If you have pets, young children, allergy sufferers, or a couch that gets heavy daily use, every six months is a better rhythm.
Q6: How should I prepare before the cleaners arrive?
Give the couch a light vacuum, remove loose items and cushions, and make sure we have clear access to the room. Please keep pets out of the area, and point out any stains or marks you are worried about. Avoid scrubbing stains or using household chemicals beforehand, as this can spread the mark or affect the dye.
Q7: Can you clean specialty fabrics such as velvet, linen or microfibre?
Yes, but each fabric needs its own approach. Delicate fabrics such as velvet or linen often call for low-moisture methods and extra care. We assess the fabric first and advise you on the best way to clean it.
Q8: Will every stain come out?
Many stains lift well, but results depend on the type of stain, how long it has been there, the fabric, and any earlier cleaning attempts. Older or set stains such as ink, dye, or burns may only lighten. After inspecting your couch, we will give you an honest idea of what to expect.
Q9: How can I keep my couch clean between professional cleans?
Vacuum it weekly, rotate and flip the cushions, and blot spills straight away rather than rubbing them. Keep the couch out of direct sunlight to prevent fading. A protective treatment such as Scotchgard can also make day-to-day spills easier to deal with.
Q10: Which areas do you service, and do you clean commercial furniture?
We service Homebush and nearby suburbs, including Parramatta, Croydon, Burwood, Clyde, Concord and Strathfield. We clean both residential and commercial upholstery. If you are unsure whether we cover your area, give us a call.
